What was your first TTRPG experience?
Some of us have been playing TTRPGs since we were kids or in High School, while others have discovered this world in the recent years, thanks to all the actual play shows and movies.
Personally I started on forums! When I was in High School I found a forum of Lord of the Ring...
We did it folks!! YOU did it!! We reached out first stretch goal!! This means we have unlocked the Luxe Card Upgrade! But what does this mean, you'll ask?
Well, it means that the cards will now be 350gsm, and not 300gsm, making them more durable and even more high quality, and they will also have a beautiful matte finish, to prevent shine and help with readability. But that is not all!!! In addition to the card stock upgrade, the deck box also gets an upgrade! It had been a dream of mine to complete the "old tome" look with a box that matched the aesthetic, so I now bring to you the Magnetic Box upgrade! Made to open and look like a real ancient compendium of arcane knowledge! You'll be able to proudly display this luxurious tome on your bookshelves and then surprise your party members with its contents! And this also allows us to plan more tomes! How amazing would it be to have a full series of Arcane Compendium tomes?! *O*
This is a mock up, so the final item might not look exactly like this.

NEXT STRETCH GOALS
Now that you know what you have already achieved with your incredible support, let's talk about the next steps! We're on our way to our second stretch goal! At 20k, we unlock two new add-ons: a token bundle and the VTT implementation bundle!
The Token Bundle will collect the tokens of all the characters of the deck and unlocked expansions, ready to use in whatever platform you prefer for your online RPG sessions. And I'd love YOUR feedback on what type of formats you prefer for your tokens: framed or not framed? Would you like to see a special Arcane Compendium token frame or would you just want a classic & simple look? Let me know in the comments!
These are just mock ups, we will work on an optimal design together.
The VTT Bundle will allow folks to access/download modules and/or assets for Foundry and Alchemy. I'm already at work with them to prepare this collaboration and both platforms have been extremely excited about it! Great things ahead! ---------
NEW COMMISSION TIER: THE SCROLL
But let's bring things back to what is currently available (but maybe not for long!!) on the campaign page! I have added a new commission tier: The Scroll! You are now able to get yourself a portrait commission (there's less than 15 available). This tier does not include any deck or expansion, just the commissioned artwork, but you can easily add the deck and expansions with add-ons. OR, if you want the commission and the full set of deck and expansions, you can always grab the Artifact Edition (less than 12 available). Here's a quick breakdown of the difference between the two. ---------

We'll also be using the Lore Master Deck to quickly live-create a setting and discuss what aspects would make for the best basis for roleplay storytelling.
You can leave your questions in this thread on the Lore Master Deck's campaign or join us during the live and ask questions in chat! The livestream will be broadcast on their campaign page or you will be able catch the replay on their YouTube.

And after that, there's the VTT implementation! I'm already talking with the teams behind Alchemy and Foundry to bring the Arcane Compendium to their platforms. And by the way, if you have any suggestions for VTT platforms you use and would love to see included in the project, leave a comment and let me know! :)

When I was in High School I found a forum of Lord of the Rings fans and other than chatting about all things fantasy, we also had a "play by forum" campaign set in Middle Earth. We didn't really have a rule set, it was more about character development and story, but it was still very fun! And then a couple of years later I took my first steps into the world of D&D! At the time we were using the 3.5 edition!
